This is the novel version of the 2019 Taiwanese movie Dear Loneliness. It tells the story about three girls of 12, 18, and 20 years of age. It begins from a bookstore owner who greets and talks with the guest by letters. He uses warm and philosophical words to uncover the experiences of the three female protagonists and see the life learnings and issues faced by the three lonely generations.
